Welcome to the Chelmsford Branch
of the BCSS

After two successful events at RHS Hyde Hall in July and August we will resume our meetings in person from September 2021 at our new venue in Danbury.
There will also be additional Zoom presentations in December and in 2022.

We are a small, friendly Branch of the British Cactus and Succulent Society which normally meets on the third Thursday of each month.

Most meetings consist of a talk, illustrated with images and/or plants, and we usually have a small display and plant sales. Our programme for 2021 also includes discussions and practical evenings. There is always an opportunity to chat about your plants and to ask for advice.

Please see our meetings page for full programme details and our contact page for a map and information on how to find us.

In addition to our regular meetings we very much enjoy participating in events at near-by RHS Hyde Hall, where we have staged a number of displays and plant sales events.

New members are always very welcome. We have a small charge for each meeting (currently £4.00) to cover the cost of hiring the room etc, but this is waived for your first attendance.

If you are in the Chelmsford area do come along to one of our meetings. We would be very pleased to meet you.
